Pretty Little Liars :: The Series

Gossip thrives amid the Mercedes-Benzes, mega mansions, and perfectly manicured hedges in the exclusive town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania. Everyone has something to hide, especially high school juniors Spencer, Aria, Emily, and Hanna.

These four pretty little liars have shared a horrible secret since sixth grade-a secret they thought was safe forever. Then the girls start receiving threatening messages signed by someone named "A," some who knows everything about them. Suddenly, their secrets-the big ones, the little ones, even the long-buried ones-no longer seem so secret. Suddenly, nothing is safe in Rosewood.

Who are the Pretty Little Liars? In exclusive Rosewood, PA, four beautiful girls are keeping some very juicy secrets and telling some seriously scandalous lies. Meet:

Hanna Marin: Hanna finally figured out who's been sending her threatening messages. But Hanna should know better than anyone that "A" knows everything...especially how to keep a secret hidden. And "A" will do anything to keep Hanna from talking, even if it means shutting the former queen bee up-forever.

Spencer Hastings: Spencer's list of school activities is longer than the Iliad. Yearbook staff, school plays, field hockey...and murder? Sure, the little overachiever knows her SAT words by heart, but her memory's kinda fuzzy when it comes to the night Alison disappeared. She remembers that she and Ali had an explosive fight, but what happened next is anyone's guess.

Aria Montgomery: Aria hates Typical Rosewood Boys, and all the boys in her grade for that matter. She's much more into the guy giving her grades-her hot English teacher Ezra. But when one of the TRBs catches her mid-smooch with the steamy prof, she's going to wish she'd played nice with her classmates.

Emily Fields: Emily's a busy bee, juggling swim practice, homework, and hiding a huge secret from her ultraconservative parents. She loves her family, but will they still love her when they find out the truth?

I don't know why but for some reason i think A IS Jenna. BUT idk maybe its Andrew cuz he has A'sto his name like Flawless said just like Spencer but that would be wierd!!!!!!!!!

omg i love these books they are so great! whoever A is , is going to be a huge surprise but it will probably be someone really obvious that well all feel stupid later cause we didn't see it coming. luv them tho

About the Maya thing I just posted...Maya was also at all of the parties in the book and could have kept up with what was up with Hannah...but who knows...

I think A is Maya. She lives in Ali's old house and easily could of found her diary, so thats how she would know about all of the old secrets. In the 3rd book, Maya says that she would like to come out about being a lesbo. A few days later, Emily's secret is reveled. Maya was also the only one who had the pictures of her and Emily in the photo booth. She lives next door to Spencer so she could easily see what's going on with Spencer's life. A also said that she would be able to keep up with Emily's life when she is away. Maya and Emily are "best friends" It just makes sense.

This is for britt Spencer does not have schizophrenia because schizophrenia is when you hear voices in your head that arent really there. And she doesn't have split personality other wise known as border line personality because she is not half as needy as she would have to be if she was border line. however what she does have is temporary amnesia also known as repressed memories.

i think the killer is forsure spencer, because spencer pushed melissa down the stairs and heard "crack" and she said it was familiar then they say spencer pushed allison the night she dissapeared and heard "crack". and A left a message saying someone wanted soemtihng of allisons, and cleary spencer wanted ian from allison... and spencer got a note from A saying the killer was right in front of her and spencer was looking straight into the mirror..... im rlly not sure who A is, but melissa said that she knows who ian cheated with in highschool, could she have known it was allison?!!!!??? and could she be A trying to get back at allison and her friends?!!!..... let me know what you guys think!

do you guys think that maybe A is a different person for each one of the girls? Maybe they are in an A-club, or maybe they dont even know each other. wouldn't that be a twist!? Anyway, i love these books, can not wait for the fourth one.

However, it can not be: Spencer: she was in the woods when A tried to run Hannah over Hannah: she was run over by A (duh) Aria & Emily: they were in the parking lot when A ran Hannah over ......soooo it could be: Melissa Ian Mona (they all have A's in their name) ....but you never know. i think it will be a big surprise! â?º

K well if no one remebers, Spencer has like schizophrenia: when she like pushed mellisa and how she never remebers stuff...well she has a double personality and cant remeber half the stuff she does, so she could be doing tons of stuff and wouldnt even knwo it! Also Why would maya be A? For one that makes NO sense..why would Maya's number be "vague" to Hannah?! Hannah doesnt even know who Maya is! Mellisa? I mean why would Mellisa care about what her little sisters friends are doing? and if aria's dad is cheating so its not mellisa. Jenna, well it could be Jenna except for when A said i have 20/20 vision ALSO the "number being VAGUE to hannah thing" come into play again because Jenna doesn't live in rosewood anymore and it says that the areacode was rosewood. So lets think girl whos number would be so "vague" to Hannah?

buck rogers? tweety bird and sylvester the cat? you people have clearly never read the books! you should give them a try there completely awesome, im not a reader but i finished these books in like 3 days (each) BTW its not nice to make fun of other people which you were clearly doing, oh and amber if you are going to read the novels read the whole thing not just up to chapter 19.

So far, I've only read Pretty Little Liars, and it was A-MAZ-ING! I read it in a day, because I could just not put it down. The most infamous question that we all have to be wondering is, who is A? I have a feeling we're going to be surprised, and it won't be anyone we suspected. But yeah, Aria and Spencer are my favorite charcters, their drama is the best (to me). Anyone agree with me?
